Blacklight Vice, Crooked Shapes, Embers and Under Violet Sky Blacklight Vice: Blacklight Vice, formed in 2019, is a Southampton heavy rock sensation that delivers a blistering barrage of raunchy guitars, filthy riffs, and thumping rhythms that even your mother would love! Supporting renowned acts such as Saint Agnes, Mimi Barks, Bloodhounds, Raging Speedhorn, Anchor Lane, InMe, Kickin Valentina, Star Circus, The Midnight Devils, and many more! Blacklight Vice underwent a transformative lineup change, embracing an even heavier sound that led them to clinch 1st place at the Radio Wigwam awards, earning the title of “Best Hard Rock & Metal Act 2023/2024.” Their critically acclaimed single "Vultures", dubbed “the f*ck you song,” received extensive radio exposure, gaining traction nationally and internationally on platforms like BBC Introducing, Total Rock Radio, Hard Rock Hell, VoiceFM, and Radio Wigwam. With their electrifying performances and intense live presence, Blacklight Vice has been described as a "hard rock battering ram that immediately open fire with all guns blazing." Crooked Shapes: Hailing from Reading UK, Crooked Shapes are a 3 piece alternative melodic hard rock group that fire up the senses with no-nonsense sonics that are sure to go down a storm with rock fans. Taking their cue from grunge rock icons Soundgarden and Alice In Chains, whilst infusing it with influence from their love of math rock such as Refused and Shellac. Crooked Shapes add their own flavour with a sound far bigger than what you’d expect from a three piece band! The trio have supported the likes of Massive Wagons, Thadeus Gonzalez and Black Tree Vultures and played established festivals such as Hard Rock Hell, Wildfire Festival and Call Of The Wild. In their career the band have taken on the stages of The Live Rooms (Chester), Brewery Arts Centre (Kendal), and 1865 (Southampton). 2025 saw the band release their sophomore album 'Mind Pollution' and a multitude of successful shows alongside it, including supporting American rockers Babylon A.D. They also released a track “Can’t Win For Loosing” which was co-written with Ricky Warwick from Black Star Riders/The Almighty. Embers: Embers is a metalcore band from the south coast of the UK, bringing a hard-hitting mix of intensity, melody, and technical precision. While still a new name in the scene, the band— Sam, Brad, Harry, and Brenden — is making an impact with a steady stream of new music, showcasing their energy and musicianship. With a focus on tight, high energy performances, Embers blend crushing riffs, powerful vocals, and intricate song writing to create a sound that feels both fresh and familiar. With momentum building fast, they’re a band to watch in the UK metalcore scene. Under Violet Sky: Under Violet Sky combines modern heaviness with old school grit.
